Group of Seven

World–class Canadian artists “The Group of Seven” are recognized both Nationally, and Internationally for creating an innovative expression of Canadian landscapes. Having completed hundreds of paintings in their unique styles, they solidified themselves as trailblazers and visionaries of the Canadian art world. The artists drew inspiration from the rugged landscapes, vibrant fall colours and crystal-clear waters throughout Algoma, and along the North shore of Lake Superior.
