Situated just 10 minutes from downtown, Hiawatha Highlands offers more than 50km of beautiful cross-country skiing, with four unique trail systems that pass through in towering pine and maple forests, beautiful rivers, lakes and waterfalls, rolling hills and beautiful rocks of the Canadian Shield.
Snowshoeing is a fun way to experience and enjoy winter and there is more than 9km of snowshoe trails to enjoy. Fat Biking has grown in popularity in the last few years and there are now over 40km of groomed trails that incorporate the summer mountain bike trail system and more besides!
Hiawatha Highlands rents all winter equipment needed to enjoy the trails including classic and skate cross country skis, snowshoes and fat bikes. The clubhouse also has hot and cold food and drinks!
